I am going to buy the iphone 3gs from sk under the wife's name tomorrow.

just wondering what packages people have with their iphone and how much on avg are their monthy bills.

From what i understand there are 4 plans you can choose from under a 2 yr contract. unless of course you buy the phone outright which costs damn near 1 mil won.

PLAN 1....57,000 -> 150 talk time minutes, 200 txt msgs + 100 MB data

PLAN 1....61,500 -> 200 talk time minutes, 300 txt msgs + 500 MB data

PLAN 1....76,000 -> 400 talk time minutes, 300 txt msgs + 1000 MB data

PLAN 1....100,500 -> 800 talk time minutes, 300 txt msgs + 3000 MB data

Can someone explain the MB data part.. not sure if thats how much data u download to your iphone from the net via apple site or what.

Also, are you charged for surfing the net?

All info would be appreciated.

I am not sure what plan i want to go with. on avg i use about 220 min of talk time and 150 txts per month with my current phone. i think plan 2 would be ok.. but i assume there are always 'hidden' charges that isnt explained in the plans. so again, all info would be great.

If you are not using wifi then you will be using up your mb. You can search the internet just like you do on your computer. You can watch youtube, you can check and write email, check the bus schedules, look at porn, so a thousand other things that may use the internet in some way.

I used about 200mb last month and I was playing around with it a lot. Once you go over the limit they charge you more, but if you don't use it they may give you a credit (couldn't really understand my last bill). I really don't think you will need anything over plan 2 (500mb) unless you are an extremely heavy user.
