It's a shame when a woman feels she must get an abortion, but her rights to her own body are absolute, and as such she retains the right to deny access to anyone or anything she chooses, no matter how much the results might sadden the rest of us. It's that simple. |

I didn't dodge a question, you're just displaying your lack of ability to actually read and think. You asked how people felt about those individuals. I gave my answer: sad. I feel sad about them.
Evidently, though, providing an answer plus additional information (namely, information about why my sadness was insufficient to compel me to become an irrational, totalitarian monster that tries to limit women's rights with regards to their own bodies) only confused you though.
Why does any exchange of dialogue with you become an exercise in explaining basic English? |

I admit they're individuals. I admit they have human rights. I admit they're sentient. Hell, I'll even say they have feelings; they might not, but let's be generous.
It's not murder, though. This is just another example of ignorant word usage. Murder is the unjust killing of another individual. If police shoot down a terrorist to save a citizen, it's not murder. If a soldier shoots someone in defense of his nation, it's not murder. These aren't unjust killings. Likewise, denying someone access to your body is never unjust, and as such, is never murder. It's sad, but it's also sad when people die on the street because no one lends them a helping hand. That doesn't make it murder.
Oh, but there I go actually using the English language properly again. |

Thanks for the lesson but I already knew there is a difference between killing and murder. These individuals are denied access to their bodies. Their heads are being chopped off. Is not that a denial of acess to their body? Yes or No? |

Denial of access to the woman's body is what ensures their death. Anything done to terminate their existence more quickly is an act of mercy. Would you prefer that these babies were simply taken out of the womans body and left on a table to suffer until they perished naturally? Personally, I would consider that pointless cruelty.
If you truly have an interest in saving the lives of these babies, your best course is to either donate to or work on artificial womb technology. The existence of such technology would make abortion morally impermissible, as denying the baby access to the woman's body would not ensure its death. If you really care about these babies, your choice is clear. Do you care enough to donate your own time and/or money to such a cause? Or do you not really care, and just use it as a political talking point? |

The world population is getting larger and larger.
Pro-choice will have to become necessary at some point in future.
Or migrate to Mars. |

I have felt and will always feel more for the woman than the fetus.
It's her decision and that is not something that should be regulated.
A fetus is not an individual and doesn't have human rights. The woman is and should have, however. |

Fox, after reading your posts for the last couple of months, I have a question. Is your username an attempt to steal back "Fair and balanced" from the idiots currently use it?
It's always a pleasure to read what you have to say. You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar. |

An adult's right to freedom is far more sacred than a fetus' right to life.
To be absolutely, brutally honest, I couldn't care less about fetuses. Why should I? |

Good thing we have so many people like you to regurgitate the bigoted diatribes of their Sunday school teachers, then. |

I'm not going to be able to link this but I read somewhere that the population surge is slowing and we'll level off somewhere around 9 million.
Personally I think if the right technology was used worldwide, this planet could easily support way more than even 9 million. Some regions (USA for example) are way under populated. |
