They usually charge you about 10,000 to 20,000 won to build it. Prices aren't any more expensive on the parts.

Go with a big shop, though. The little stores are more difficult to get problems taken care of (they just tell you to go to the company service for the parts -- leaving you to trouble-shoot it yourself).

In the bigger stores in Seon-in Plaza they have a sheet of paper like a spec-list. You sit down at a desk with a guy who goes through each component with you asking what you want to spend and offering choices (hopefully!) for each thing.

When you and him have finalized the spec and final price then he gets on the phone and starts calling around Yongsan dealers to order in the parts. Runners come in from different places with your parts and someone will start putting it together. You sit back with a coffee and watch.

As said above, their building fee is usually 20,000 or less.

In case you haven't gone in yet, I recommend going on newegg. Pick out all of your parts and write them down. You may want to write down a couple of alternative parts in case they don't have them or they're much more expensive than you thought. Add three zeros to the price and about 20%, and you'll have a good ballpark figure of what your comp will cost you.
