I have search for threads on this but I couldnt find anything by anyone who has actually done this.
I want to send home my PS3 + monitor (to the UK). Has anyone done this at the post office? How much did it cost? Did you get taxed?
Unfortunately taking them carry on isn't a possibility. They may end up on the buy and sell forum yet...
Anyway. Thanks for any replies. |

Hey dude.
Funny thing I posted the exact same thing for the exact same products a while back.
I first contacted the local post office, the guy on the phone said it isn't 'wise' to send electronic items via the post as they may get refused and sent back, reason...i don't know, truth...i don't know.
So I started scanning private delivery companies, one in particular caught my attention and deal specifically with electronic products.
They come to your house, measure, box and send recorded delivery.
Problem is the price, I think I was quoted around 400,000 for sending a monitor, PS3, Computer (PC Base unit).
Unless anyone else has any other recommendations, this seems to be the best and most reliable option T.T |

thanks for your reply.
I think i will go to the post office first and get rejected for myself. I really don't want to go through the hassle of selling on the buy sell forum as I live in the sticks. (and I just can't face any more of this buying and selling the same stuff year after year) |

I hear ya man!
If you get any positive results or alternates, let me know, I'll be sure to do the same!
Goodluck. |
