Should I leave my gauges in or take them out?

Soooo I will be leaving for Korea in about a month, which gives me some time to possibly heal these bad boys up. I've had my ears gauged (6g) for around a year now. Nice cobalt color, nothing too obtrusive. I've really grown to like them more and more. I do not plan on stretching any larger than this.

I spoke with my recruiter and she said... wait until you get there and see what they say. Well that sounds a bit negligent to me. I do not want to make a poor first impression.

It's about the size of this guys gauges (http://www.flickr.com/photos/32204604@N00/303153916).

Also, facial hair. Yay or nay?

Just leave them in. I've seen a number of people with them. If they ask you to take them out, then you can. No need for preemptive action if you're not sure they'll even care about them.
