I took domestic flights on Air China all the time when I lived in China. Good service, hot stewardesses, decent food, and I think they have an excellent safety record. Not as fancy as Korean Air, but probably much cheaper. |

I flew with them to Canada via Beijing a couple of years ago. It was the lowest-priced flight, yet everything was decent. |

I flew them from Seoul to Beijing and back...pretty good. Not nearly as nice as Korean Air. And after doing some research on them, I don't think you could get me back on one of their planes because of their lack of speaking ability. I'm afraid to fly, so no way can I fly on them. |

I flew Seoul to Beijing in 2007, & my plastic suitcase was smashed on arrival. Food was so-so. China Air were better (Taiwan based). |

I flew with them on my way back to Korea this Christmas. There was a huge snow storm in Beijing and we were stranded.
Air China was the most disorganized in terms of arranging new tickets for those whose flights had been canceled. They provided little to no information about what was happening. When I finally got a flight 12 hours later we were stuck in the plane waiting to take off for another 4 hours without anyone telling us what was happening. Without getting food or anything.
i will never fly Air China again. |

I flew London to Beijing and was very happy with them. I would use them again. |

I have used them internationally and domestically. Never had a problem and always less Koreans on the plane than a Korean Air or Asiana flight. |

I flew Air China home and back over Christmas. No complaints with the flights themselves (although my screen didn't work on the Heathrow - Beijing leg), but also got stranded at Beijing airport for a couple of days on the way back due to the heavy snow.
We were given no information whatsoever and had to stand in a queue for new tickets for hours and were then shipped to a grotty hotel somewhere on the outskirts of Beijing. To be fair, I don't know if the complete chaos at Beijing was down to Air China or the airport staff.
I would fly with them again if the price is right, otherwise I would probably pay a bit more for another airline. Oh, and the food from Beijing to Heathrow was pretty grim, although it was better on the way back! |

Fabulous flights between Beijing/Xian & Xian/Shanghai & Shanghai/Shenzhen and I had full meals with wine or beer on 2.5 hour flights. It was great and reasonable. |

LOL, China Air has like the worst safety record of any airline in history
Air China is good but as others have mentioned I wouldn't count on them to come through in a satisfying fashion if there's some sort of technical difficulty or weather-related delay. |

I've been pleased whenever I've flown with them. They've always had a few flight attendants with impeccable English as well. |
