Dental Amalgams contain mercury (a known poison) and many countries now ban the use of amalgams while other countries continue to allow them.
Most people aware of the issue opt for epoxy resin dental fillings, so my question is:
Do Korean dentists use mercury amalgams at all if you need a cavity filled?
Also, in your experience are dental services in Korea cheaper or more expensive compared to your home country? |

Many dentists in Korea have trained in the US, Canada & Australia & charge about 1/3 the cost of those countries. They didn't use mercury in my experience.
Here's a list of English speaking Dentists. I used 'Trueden' in Ilsan & they were great. 3 fillings & root canal work (with porcelain crowns) was 700,000 won, about $500 US.
