...can someone please translate that into Korean so I can make a sign and put it on my door??

These guys are hitting me up 3 or 4 times a week. I don't know what the deal is. Usually I'm pretty good about keeping the lights off and remaining quiet so they think no one is home. Sometimes I forget and I open the door. Damn. I try to say no but they just keep on and keep on.

I wonder what Jesus would think about harassing the hell out of people?

I just want to put up something so they know to not even bother ringing the doorbell. It's either this or I'm just gonna draw a cross with a circle and line through it.

Just get one of those signs that says "아기가 자고있어요" (the baby is sleeping)!

It might be wiser to put up a sign that says 'I already have a home church which i'm satisfied with' which is something like (교회에 다니고 있고 그 교회에 만족합니다). Do correct me on my translation plz.

If you put up 'no church ppl plz' they might decide saving your soul should be made the number one priority and visit you even more frequently Smile

"교희사람이 싶지 않아요" maybe? (Church people not wanted.)

Though I think 싶지 않아요 might only be usable with verbs. You could go with "교희사람이 shilioyo" (can't think of the spelling.) Loosely translates as hate but has more applications than in English.

I think that should be ' 교회사람 원하지 않습니다.'

That's funny. I've been meaning to do this for the last couple of months. I bought sticky paper to make the signs but haven't decided quite how I want to phrase it. Our building recently installed security doors but it hasn't made a wit of difference.

One of the last times I actually answered the door (without opening it, and the intercom outside the door I disconnected a long time ago) the lady said she was part of a Korean organization that helps foreigners.

I laughed and said, "There's no such thing. You're from a church right?"
"Yes."
"Go away."

Get an apartment building with a guard. They don't bother us here.

You could always do what one of my co-workers used to do when we were flatting together for a few months at my first job in Korea. He was about 6 foot 2, blond, pale and skinny. He would answer the door naked to the waist (from the top) and tell them that he was Buddha - 나는 부처님 입니다 - (he didn't know how to say that he was Buddhist). They didn't come back too often.

Although, on reflection, answering the door naked to the waist from the bottom might have more of an effect.

It's a bit ironic to be able to say THANK HEAVENS for the card and password protected exterior sliding door with a camera on our building's first floor.

I assume they're Jehovahs? Tell them you've been 'de-fellowpshipped'. This means you used to be a witness and you've now renounced your faith. They won't be allowed to talk to you again, result!! you could even make up some elaborate ruse about needing a blood transfusion or something.

I'm tired of your stupid posts.

Your answer is to move to a new building with a guard. Not sure if you're really this stupid, or if you somehow think that having a guard is special and you're trying to find a way to brag.

Regardless, stupid-ass post.

Hey. Break it up you two. There's no need for all this "agro" (as the Aussies' say).

Conserve your energy for getting rid of these annoying "kunts" (as the Germans say) who knock on our doors.

It's very rude to knock on someones door at unsociable hours and talk a load of "bollix" (as the Brits say), so i understand the desire to get rid of these people.
