Does anyone know about foreigner bars/cafes in Bucheon? Or just bars/cafes that foreigners like to hangout at?

I'm new in town. I know that there are a lot in Seoul, but I'm interested to hangout with other foreigners a bit closer to home.

Cafe Nicolia and Rhythm and Booze are the two most well known ones.

Both of them have facebook pages. Also look at Bucheon City teachers on facebook to meet more foreigners in the area. That is what I did.

Rhythm and Booze is behind the Hyundai Department store across from E-mart. Cafe Nicolia is a bit further away. The facebook page can give you better directions than I can.

I found Rythm and Booze.

I also found a sports bar called Park on the other side of the same street (the pedestrian street) a bit closer to the clock. Some friends said that a lot of foreigners go there. I probably won't because i'm not into sports bars but I just thought that maybe someone else might like to know about it.

Has anyone ever been to O.B.F. Cafe near the Catholic University?

I get the idea from the website that it's mainly for Korean students to practice English with each other, but I'm curious if anyone here has been and how it is.

Cafe Nicolia was a good place maybe a year or two ago. Now it is a just rich Korean asshole hangout with overpriced.... everything.

R n B is straight. Alley Kat and San Miguel on tap. As well as the K-swill.

The park is pretty cool as well. basement bar. And although they are called a "sports bar" I've never actually been there when they were playing a game. Most weekend nights there are dj's bands.

Bucheon is getting better talent as of late. Better looking girls/guys come to the park for some reason.

Never been to the o.b.f. I guess if you are interested in getting a korean girlfriend and or lining up privates.....happy hunting either way.

Yeah, I've been to both The Park and Rhythm and Booze. Both have live music pretty often, I liked both, personally.

RnB is great if you want to sit and talk (while the live music isn't playing, or it's too loud) and they also have some great food.

The Park, in my opinion, seems to be the better place to mingle and meet people.

I'm new to Korea, though, so I haven't been to either place that many times--- my perception may be off.

I'd say that the food is far better at the Park Bar. They actually have REAL chipotle sauce, yum. Also their chili is outstanding. The interior is cool, too. Pool table, FREE foosball and darts.
Also its under new managment, from what I hear its the guy who used to be the manager at RnB, (Doug?). it's nice at RnB with the suround windows. Cafe Nicolia is expensive, but it is a nice place to chill. You can sip a coffee, read a book and nobody hassles you.
