My recruiter tells me that I need to have my original criminal record check notarized/sealed and then stamped by the consulate. Problem is that no laywers will do it - they don't feel its right to notarize an original and will not put the seal on it. The Korean consulate would not stamp it without a lawyer's seal. Not really sure how to handle this, has anyone had this difficulty as well? Have I just had bad luck with lawyers? Thanks. |

Just take it to a notary public to be notarized. Don't waste your time with lawyers. Then take it to the consulate. Have never heard that the CRC needs to be sealed either. |
