Maybe it was, but the point still stands. (It just seems so much more appropriate that it was a "magic johnson" rather than a "wilt."  ) |

Well, originally, I was not commenting on Tiger so much but rather the blanket suggestion by some that "sex addiction" is just a pop term made up to excuse bad behavior. And while I will concede to the possibilty that the use of the term "addiction" may not be technically, clinically accurate, the compulsion can not be so easily dismissed as just bad behavior either, regardless of what you call it.
But hey, I don't discount the fact that bad behavior could play a big part in it also, and often people abuse their wealth and power. I seem to recall Clinton(who I like by the way) saying he did it "because he could".
But as for Tiger, I think there is ample evidence to suggest the guy had a big time problem.

So if he risked all he did, his marriage, his reputation, his sweet endorsement contracts, but somehow magically avoided being caught, no problem? Like if a tree falls in the woods, and nobody hears it ...............?

Lots of people have extramarital affairs without getting into trouble.
OTOH, sexual compulsivity should be treated as should any other OCD. I am not saying an individual should ignore it if he is causing himself problems due to it. |

Maybe he will come out with a verility drug called Woods. Now that would sell!
