For big bucks head to Kyobo book store. They're in the 50k range!!
I got one from the book dealer that brings our texts to our school. |

We bought one there--they have several sizes, but they are pretty expensive. Ours is medium for 13K, but the next cheapest was around 30-40k.
Young Poon also has a pretty good selection of english books on the second floor. Its at the Express Bus terminal near the movie theater. |

City Hall maps have a good chance of being Korean.
Get a map at most large sized bookstores. Most will be Korean, some English, and a few both. The price can vary from 6000 to 50000. Get a simple cheap map.

Bought a decent one in Kyobo bookstore, not cheap. as has been mentioned. What I found interesting was that the seal had been broken and the 'Sea of Japan' had been whited out, rather crudely, and 'East Sea' substituted. A bit of censorship, for sure. Draw your own conclusions. |

I wouldn't expect anything less, unfortunately.
Tangentially, has anyone ever seen an Arabic map of the the Middle East that DIDN'T say 'Occupied Palestine' in place of Israel? Same sh*t, different toilet if you ask me. |

I inherited an antique globe from my grandmother. The penninsula extending from north-east China is, of course, the same color as Japan, an d labelled "CHOSEN". Not only is the body of water to the East labelled "Sea of Japan," but the cities are called Fusan, Moppo, Keijo, Gensan, Heijo, Antung, and Rashin. |

The maps can't be worse than they are in China, where Taiwan in a "special authoritive region", and North Korean cities are shown with more promanence than South Korean ones. |
