| Daegu is like Regina, but without the culture. |
That's probably a good analogy.
I live on the west side and there's mountains and it's quiet. There's a little bit of life at the east gate of Keimyung University, and a nice brew pub at Daesil station. But there's more to see and do around Banwoldang.
It's a conservative city. When I can I go for a weekend to Busan, which just has a better vibe for me. |

| Daegu is the most conservative city in Korea by far. The people here are the most traditional koreans you will ever meet. That being said, this city also is also populated with some of the most beautiful korean women you will ever see. Daegu is notorious for having the most beautiful women in the country. Yes, the women are also conservative, but they are, I would say, better bred than seoul women. But its a question of taste. I prefer Daegu's style and have gotten used to the way they act. When I go to Seoul, the koreans are by far more open with their feelings and tend to talk way too much. Daegu people are pretty quiet and the younger people are relatively shy, but I seem to do better in that style of environment, maybe because I have lived here for a while and really deteste Seoul. There are huge cultural differences between people from daegu and seoul. |

sucks that Ariana closed.
But for you people who live in Daegu's Suseong gu, there is a new place (at least I think its new) called Beer Factory in Manchon-dong. The place has tons of awesome beers on tap. And it has Cass all-you-can-drink for a pretty low rate. Saw it the other day when I was driving, looks worthy of a try. |

Yes, where is Beer Factory exactly? (Preferably in relation to Manchon E-mart, because I can get there.) |

| I went there and tested Beer Factory out! Their assortment of beers was great and they had Guinness on tap! The Guinness was why I was happy though. The all-you-can-drink Cass is less than 10,000 won. Pretty unbelievable. I dont know how to explain how to get there, but its right next to the Wa-Bar in Manchon dong. Its not the wa-bar near dong-a. Dont go there. Its hard to explain. But I will get back to this thread later with directions. But, it truly felt like like a pub atmosphere. |
