I've only been to one in Incheon and one in Seoul and drinking was not permitted. I always thought drinking and bowling went hand in hand. Anyone know a place where you can do both?

They don't sell booze, so we used to just bring our own and no one said anything.

But be warned (and this isn't anti-Korean, just a notice) that every time I went bowling all the Koreans bowling were taking it very seriously. I mean full gear, watching the foul line, etc etc. I was shocked, it wasn't laid back like it tends to be in the West. Every night was league night, even the kids were fully outfitted and had the moves.

If you want to go some where to drink, go to a bar, the bowling alley isn't the best spot.

Went to the one near HanGangJin recently, they don't sell booze their but you can bring in booze. They don't like bottles though, but cans seems to be okay.

I've been bowling with Koreans in the west, they don't act like that back home. It was all fun and games, good times. Razz

Perrot Strike, near Rodeo/ Apgujung. New bowling alley/bar/pool/darts, etc. Pretty cool place. It's near the BK/KFC.

I've gone with friends and brought beer to bowling alleys several times and never had a problem in Daegu.

Most of the places in Busan let you bring it in as well. Their hours suck though.
