Hey, I just accepted a job with Avalon in the Pyeongchon area. I am about to mail my documents, but can't figure out the format. I've visited the post office in my area, but they were really confused about mailing things to Korea ( its mostly an Italian neighbourhood). They told me to make absolutely sure about the format because I would be charged for returned mail (Fedex). So, here is the address that they sent me, what exactly goes where, I know it isn't complicated, but the post office employees just gave me a look like I wanted to mail this package to Mars or something.

No one ever responded to this but I was wondering the same thing. I need to send my docs to my recruiter and this is her address.
#605, Taeseung Bldg.
15-9 Jamwon-dong
Seocho-gu, Seoul Korea
Zip code: 137-902
Is that what I give the post office or should i figure out the korean version? |

That address, as is, is sufficient. (No need to write "zip code" -- xxx-xxx is self-explanatory).
In my experience the post office here has never had any problems deciphering addresses written in english, in western order, even in sloppy cursive with bad spelling. Amazing, actually. |
