For me its-
1)Shampoo & Conditioner & Skin Cleanser (okay its 3).

2)More pictures of my family.

3)A 6, no wait 4- sixes, of my favorite local beers- Magic Hat, Hopslam, Edmund Fitzgerald Porter, and Flying Dog Gonzo.

4)Mitchum Unscented Antiperspirant.

5)The recipes for the cocktail drinks from Babs' bar in Ann Arbor.

Far more candy. Korean candy is terrible. I'd pretty much just fill up any hypothetical extra space with as much candy as I could fit.

I don't really get your first one. I don't know if you live in Seoul, but I'm able to find just as good and better hair care and skin care products all over the place. Many of them are the exact same brands as back home. If you're a girl, maybe you have a preference, but you could surely find a good alternative.

I would have to agree with you on the beer choices..

Mine:

1) Some New Glarus Spotted Cow and Rogue Morimoto Black Obi Soba..
mmmm

2) Deodorant of course

3) The new Zune HD (say what you want, but it's got a big leg up on ipod)

4) More pictures from home

5) More books

My list is pretty simple because I really find it's not hard to find what you need in Seoul

1. Hair dryer, curling iron, and crimper. I can call that one thing right?
2. My two cats who my sister is graciously watching over.
3. More books, like all of them.
4. D&D stuff
5. Yarn in various weights and colors for knitting. I don't know where to buy yarn here.

Overall, I'm pretty set. The lack of hair supplies is killing me.

What's wrong with the ones sold here? I bought several over the years and they've all worked great. I only bought new ones because I wanted to upgrade..

Dongdaemun! There is a HUGE store where the basement has nothing but yarn and supplies.

You're actually in luck that you live in Bucheon - PM a user here called kuramakitty (do a search of her ID or use a * for a wildcard search) - she lives in Bucheon and is very friendly. Don't tell her I told you to, though.. hahaha.. Razz

Hair dryers and curling irons seem very expensive. Back home I would get the cheap ones for like $10 to last me 4 years. My last curling iron was $20 from Amazon and it was ceramic. So I guess my issue is that I am cheap. I had a perm when I left so I wasn't using supplies and I didn't want to buy a converter thingamajig. I recently got a cut (too short) and it lacks the necessary volume without a hairdryer and round brush.
I feel guilty spending money on myself and I feel anxious buying things "full price."

What the Book is too expensive. My problem is if I start a book, I finish within a week (if longer like 400 pages) or over a weekend if shorter. Also, I hate Itaewon.

Do you work for WTB? Smile
This is pleasing. Website isn't up to speed on what I like in fiction (used), but the nonfiction looks good (used). My guess is people don't trade in their good fiction.
New books are still pricey as hell. Free shipping is great, though.
Thanks for the tip.

LOL.. no, the owner was/is a friend and I'd like to see the business continued. May be he SHOULD pay me.. LOL. I was just in there today and got a couple of things.. a UK edition of cosmo for 10K, which is much cheaper than Kyobo Bookstore (they normally charge around 17/18K).

I have to say, though, that their Economist is, for some reason, more expensive than anywhere else...

1. birth control
2. super size ibuprofen
3. pajamas/undies
4. makeup
5. dress shoes

I wouldn't have brought as many clothes as I did. Seriously, wtf. I thought I wouldn't be able to wear anything, but it's not that bad.
