Hi,
Have friends coming over to Seoul and would like to take them to a nice bar with live music, preferably a cover band that plays stuff like Bon Jovi, Van Morrison - the classic cover band tunes. Any ideas? |

My acoustic trio named Hazel (Guitar, bass, violin) does not play Bon Jovi but we do play the likes of VM, Cat Stevens, Beatles, H. Chapin etc. but we also do some STP, Green Day, incubus and powderfinger. I understand there is a glut of cover bands in the Seoul area hense my band is including more origionals and non-pop Latin tunes. We play most often in the Incheon, Bucheon, Bupyeong area. |

Really! My wife and I saw Unleashed Anger after the Battle of the Bands. The drummer bouced a stick off a cymbal ant it drilled straight into my wife's upper lip. Blew it wide open. She was PO'd and bloody but the music was so good we stayed. Later the drummer was almost in tears over it.
Great music, Alley Kat beer, a little boo-boo, and an ocean of sincerity. Best night we've had in Korea in 2 years. |
