Quote:
Lloyd Blankfein of Goldman Sachs 'expecting $100 million bonus'

Goldman Sachs, the worlds richest investment bank, could be about to pay its chief executive a bumper bonus of up to $100 million in defiance of moves by President Obama to take action against such payouts.

There should be riots in the streets about this. God damn sick.

More exactly, the riots should be about the exclusions all the big banks who were most of the benefactors of the bailouts got from the bonus caps for their executives. This was so blatantly obvious from the moment they were passed. I guess they had to actually see it for it to sink in.

They'll probably just throw Geithner to the wolves (as it becomes ever more obvious that he orchestrated the AIG scam to pay out out Goldman 100 cents on the dollar using taxpayer money) and think that'll make it all better...

My wall street acquaintances reckon they shot high so that Obama can stomp it down to 50mil or so and claim victory.

Well, it's now mainstream news that Goldman executives are carrying around handguns for protection. Probably not a bad idea... and it shows that they know they're a pack of crooks.
