Hi everyone,

just a queiry about a job offer from a recruiter call b2corea for a job where I want to work (Ilsan) at a school in GEPIK.

thing is, I haven't had a telephone interview with the school and have only been sent details of the a school in Suwon which apparently has a twin Ilsan. I have been sent the GEPIK application form though. The recruiter seems keen that I send my documents.

does anyone have any experience of this recruiter - good or bad? does this come across to you as an example of Bait-and-Switch?

any information appreciated.

I don't have any previous experience with B2corea, but I'll paste what I replied with in another thread.

Quote:
I just received a phone call from a Korean recruiter named Victor from B2corea. (He contacted me after correspondence via [email protected])

According to him, they are working to find teachers to fill remaining spots in the GEPIK program. He was very fast paced and all business on the phone.

Like all recruiters he said I am pretty much the perfect candidate and he has a "very good feeling about me". (Despite my lack of any certs or teaching experience whatsoever).

He also mentioned some kind of set up at a couple of schools that involve "extra curricular activities" with additional pay of $10 per hour times ~10 students. He was very vague on this. Basically he said it amounted to a salary of more like 2.5 mil instead of the base 2.1.

Obviously waiting to see some contracts and talk to current teachers before anything else. Just thought I'd share what info I could.

The other thread is:

Good luck.
