| Jar Jar really ruined the Phantom Menace for me. Other than him I didn't think it was that bad but not as good as the originals. All the special effects in the new films just made it seem more fake but the original films despite being much older looked more real. George Lucas really ruined the original when he changed them. |

jar jar plays a role. But the troubling accents are an issue. I sort of dismissed it when it came out, but now I think there's definitely something to it.
the horrible script is another big problem. Anakin's lines are awful. The jokes are horrible.
effects wise it wasn't that good either, even for the time. |

| The prequels--including TPM--were pretty good as books. They go into a lot of detail that cannot fit in a couple hours. I enjoyed reading (listening as audiobooks, actually) them and then rewatching the movies. |

He just put out an Avatar video. It's not as good, but actually offers a pretty thoughtful critique of the movie. |

ok, the phantom menace sucked, but i think the revenge of the sith was the best one made. it was the climax of the whole Star Wars series with anakin turning to the dark side and becoming darth vader and how the evil Empire (emporer/senate) began to turn on the Jedi Council

I liked it. Sorry guys. I was not there to rate some sort of award winning performance. I went to the movie just to enjoy it, and I did.
However, the scenes with JarJar weren't very good, I must admit. When JJ and his buddies were getting mowed down by lasers, that was cool. |

Best of the 3 prequels, but best of the whole series? i dunno... definitely a lot of important plot background in it. |

i decided to borrow the prequels from the internet after seeing this thread yesterday. Attack of the clones is horrible. Way worse than phantom menace.
lucas should never again be allowed involvement in script writing. |
