Do you think somebody will actually take this job?

- Salry: 1,000,000 won 5hrs PER 16days of work (Depending on nationality & skill)
640,000~800,000 won 3hrs PER 16days of work (Depending on nationality & skill)
That's VERY low.
I work 20 days a month roughly, at 5.5 hours per day and make double that plus another 40 %.

I dunno, if they're paying housing and liberal with signing off on being a job-shop for their foreign teacher (not illegal in the slightest), then it might be a great way to work and teach one-on-one on an E-2 visa.

Depending on my conversations with the director, I would take that job if I were still wanting work in Korea.

Looks like the job isn't limited to Native speakers.

A Korean with no hagwon experience and only a TESOL cert would certainly jump on that position.

The ad didnt mention anything about housing, pension, medical etc. Its doubtful its offered. You are there from 4 until 10 pm for 1 million won. Any way you slice it, this job is insulting crap for a native teacher.

I'm sorry.
But what's to understand about the situation. They're paying approximately half of what you'd get otherwise. If you were working at a normal job. 2-3 hours more per day. The 5 hour posting, I work about the same. 5 Days a week, 4 weeks a month. I make WAY more money.
Such an offer is insulting to just about Anyone.

But what's to understand about the situation.

Someone said above, what if they're not limiting themselves to native speakers?

That was included in my post.
Even for a Korean.
That's not enough money.
