Wouldn't Turks then have the right to reside in Israel? We EU citizens can live anywhere in the EU we fancy. Would Israel really want to give millions of non-Jews this right? After all, it would endanger the Jewish character of their nation. Or would they demand a special clause?

It's the EUROPEAN union.Israel is not a part of Europe so it's a moot point.......moving right along.... Rolling Eyes
