Vitiligo causes white patches to appear on the skin, especially the hands. I remember Michael Jackson said he changed the color of his skin so that the vitiligo wasn't visible. That is he had the rest of his skin color changed to match it. This article has some info about it :

The fact that Michael Jackson changed his nose, straightened his hair (common enough with black women but not black men) married 2 white women and had children who look 100% white does make you wonder if he had some kind of complex about his race. Like so many things about MJ, it's a mystery.

Jackson's doctor to be charged Monday

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Michael Jackson's personal physician is to be charged Monday in connection with the singer's June 2009 death, Los Angeles prosecutors said Friday.

Media reports this week speculated when Dr. Conrad Murray might be formally charged with involuntary manslaughter. Although prosecutors have announced Murray would be charged Monday, People.com said they did not specify what charges he will face.

Also unclear is whether Murray will be allowed to surrender at a police station for booking and post bail, or if he will be arrested and transported to a courthouse in handcuffs, People.com said.

Murray's attorney said Thursday Murray would plead innocent if charged with involuntary manslaughter as expected.

Jackson's death at age 50 was declared a homicide after lethal levels of the anesthesia propofol and sedatives were found in his system.

Murray, the singer's Texas-based doctor, has been under investigation for his treatment of Jackson in the time leading up to his death. Police have said Murray admitted he administered the drugs to Jackson to help him sleep shortly before he died June 25, 2009.

Murray has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing and his lawyer has said he is fully cooperating with the investigation.

Dr Murray, who would face up to four years in jail if convicted, is accused of acting "unlawfully and without malice" in bringing about Michael Jackson's death, prosecutors said.

They said Dr Murray had acted "without the caution and circumspection required" when he administered a powerful sedative to Jackson in an effort to help him sleep.

As he walked into court he was jeered by fans of the singer who hoisted banners including �Justice for Michael.�

Jackson�s parents Joe and Katherine, and siblings Tito, LaToya and Jermaine also arrived at court.

Asked if he was the happy with the charge, Jermaine Jackson said: �It�s not enough.�

Jackson�s body had thirteen puncture marks: autopsy

Los Angeles: With Michael Jackson�s personal physician Conrad Murray being charged for involuntary manslaughter in the pop icon�s death, the Los Angeles coroner has released the autopsy report. Puncture wounds on his neck, arms and legs were graphically detailed in the 51-page report which gives vivid details supporting last August�s conclusion that Jackson died from �acute propofol intoxication,� CNN online reported.

There were 13 puncture marks on Jackson�s body, and 38 marks in total. The autopsy also revealed that Jackson�s �sparse� hair was �connected to a wig.�The singer weighed 136 pounds and was 69 inches tall. The front of Jackson�s scalp, from his hairline, was tattooed with dark ink over the �frontal balding.� His eyebrows and the border of his eyelids were also tattooed and there was a �pink tattoo� on his lips.

Dr. Murray, who pleaded not guilty to the charges, told investigators he gave Jackson propofol, a powerful anaesthetic, to help him sleep.

The Los Angeles coroner�s office had previously said the 50-year-old star died from a lethal dose of propofol and Dr. Murray was charged with involuntary manslaughter by acting �without malice� but also �without caution and circumspection.� � PTI

There's absolutely no reason to suspect that J.M. Barrie was a pedophile. He had a close relationship with the children of a friend of his but that's all. One of the children later committed suicide as an adult and another may have committed suicide but there's no reason to suspect sexual abuse.

As for Lewis Carroll, he seemed to have a real interest in young girls and he took nude photos of them so it does seem very suspicious. Still he was never accused of anything and people didn't view child nudity in the same way in that time so the evidence is hardly conclusive.

One could also go to great lengths to explain away Michael Jackson's lifelong obsession with boys in and around puberty, instead of reaching the obvious conclusion.

Tenn. House narrowly OKs Michael Jackson measure

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) � A resolution to honor the late pop superstar Michael Jackson has passed the Tennessee House with only one vote to spare.

The resolution sponsored by Democratic Rep. G. A. Hardaway of Memphis passed Wednesday on a vote of 51-22. Measures need at least 50 votes to pass the 99-member chamber.

Another 24 lawmakers abstained.

Rep. Gerald McCormick, who voted for the bill, noted that Jackson was once married to Lisa Marie Presley of Memphis. In the Chattanooga Republican's words: "He was Elvis' son-in-law, and that ought to count for something."

Democratic Rep. Henry Fincher of Cookeville said he voted against the measure because Jackson was "credibly accused of child molestation."

Jackson was acquitted of all 14 counts against him at trial in 2005.

Jackson death recording emerges

A recording of the moment paramedics first announced Michael Jackson's death has been found online.

The voice on the tape - which is believed to feature a Los Angeles Fire Department medical calling ahead to the UCLA Hospital in Santa Monica - could even be used as new evidence in the trial against the star's personal physician Dr Conrad Murray who has been charged with involuntary manslaughter.

The voice is heard saying: "Patient is Michael Jackson, the pop star singer. No pulse, no breathing. Unresponsive. Tried to resuscitate him. Unsuccessful. We've done everything we can. We should be there in five minutes. It doesn't look good. It doesn't look good."

If the recording is genuine then it would be crucial to the trial into Michael's death because it contradicts the timeline of events previously stated by Dr Murray who said the 50-year-old music legend still had a pulse and was warm when he put him in the ambulance.

If the tape is used, prosecutors would argue Dr. Murray, 56, actually left Michael for more than an hour after giving him the powerful sedative Propofol, making his actions careless.

The tape, which emerged on the ambulance workers' web forum, is thought to be the first time the announcement was made that Michael was dead on June 25 last year, although authorities do not yet know whether it is genuine.

An LAFD spokesman said: "I couldn't confirm that it is one of our workers. It could be. They refer to 'pop star Michael Jackson' but it is not our practice to name names."
