I need to get a passport photo taken and processed/developed tomorrow or sunday. Is there a place that does it in Itaewon? How much does it cost?
Thanks. |

I had my passport photo taken in America, but in the past 6 years that I have been here, any time that I have needed an official photo for visas or the like, I have just gone down to the subway and taken my picture in the photo booth there. Now, I don't live in Itaewon, so I don't know if the Itaewon station has a photo booth, but I would think so! Good luck! |

Not sure they are open Sundays, but there is a Kodak shop that will do it for you. Assuming it's still there (I believe so) it's on the main drag, directly across from the Dunkin Donuts. |

It would depend on what country you need the passport photo for.
The Canadian embassy/ passport service is pretty anal about them.
Some other embassies are pretty lax and will accept photo-machine pics. |

I need about a dozen 'official' passport pics. It's not actually for my passport, so the HD, no glasses etc rules don't apply. All of these will be glued to pieces of paper that get shoved into drawers and they will never be looked at again.
I'll check to see if the kodak store is open tomorrow. |

I would recommend going to most subway stations that have a small box-like thing that you sit in and deposit 7,000won and your passport photos are taken.
Why? I will give you 7 reasons.
(1) The box-thingy-machine has a curtain for privacy.
(2) It only takes about 2 minutes.
(3) You get to choose exactly what size passport photos you need.
(4) Nobody is watching you, so you can smile anyway you want, without anyone watching you.
(5) You can see yourself in the glass, whilst your photo is being taken.
(6) The machine takes 2~3 photos and you can choose the best one.
(7) The machine prints six (6) passport sized photos (instead of the normal four you would get if you went to a photo shop) - you will will have 6 instead of 4. |

Mine's Fuji. 20,000 for 12 photos + a CD with the photo on it so they can make more if they want. Best bargain in town.
And this is here in Lake Wobegon, I can imagine it would be a fair sight cheaper in a larger city. |
