The film's name was 'Johnny Mnemonic'. Did not dig it.

Thanks for the spelling correction.

OK, so maybe it wasn't that great of a William Gibson adaptation, but it had Beat Takeshi, Dolph Lundgren, and Ice T in it.

Now for straight to DVD sci-fi rubbish, I'd look at Seagal's 'Attack Force'. Terrible movie that was.

The Godzilla remake I hated the monster. I liked the Japanese monster better.

The Omega man remake- I liked the original mutants more. I liked the Charlton Heston version it was way creepier.

I also hated the Willy Wongka remake I liked the original Umpa Loompa's better.

1. Event Horizon- Alien knockoff.
2. I am legend- One the story was so watered down from the original. and 2 THEY CHANGED THE ORIGINAL ENDING. HE DOESN'T DIE. I guess audiences couldn't deal withthefact that the hero sacrifices himself to save humanity.
3. The Fountain...I REALLY wanted to like this one.
4. Matrix...2 and 3 are so self indulgent it is embarrassing to watch.
5. Cube 2-3. Really just a rehash of the first one...which was solid.

And the 5 best.

1. Krull
2. Slipstream
3. 2001
4.Alien
5.Blade Runner

Event Horizon was so not an alien ripoff. Yes they are both in space and yes people die, but that's about it

And I am legend, there are two endings, one he dies one he doesn't (movie was still average at best, but doesn't belong in worst scifi)

Mission to Mars.... defintely lands closer to COUNTRY BEARS than PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN in terms of what attractions Disney should make into movies.... Wink

I was totally trying to remember these turds. Of the two I have to say Mission to Mars was the worse.
