I know that there are some Koreans out there who make a full-time job out of finding and reporting foreign illegal teachers.

I'm wondering, if, as a foreigner, I could make some coin by finding and turning in corrupt recruiters who recruit illegal teachers!

Is there some kind of special license or qualification I can get to become a corrupt recruiter-buster?

I can just imagine how my undercover resume will read -- the one I use to entrap various evil recruiters from Byeongjeom to Bucheon to Bundang!

Dude, this is Korea. They don't give a crap about corrupt recruiters. This is because most recruiters are Korean and are their "brothers" and "sisters."

The recruiters are not responsible for the paperwork, ultimately, it are the hagwons who are responsible for the paperwork.

If you believe a hagwon has illegal teachers, and you don't feel bad about turning them in, just give a call to an MoE and they will investigate.

Hagwon will be punished (quite a lot) financially and three strikes and they lose their business, the teacher will be repatriated.

But he's got a point. If one of US turns in a corrupt school/employer, can WE also collect the same bounty that these paparazzi guys get paid when they turn in an illegal worker?
