These days it's Alice from the L word. It's a pretty awful show, but she keeps me coming back.

I'll have to assume you like Larry David.

There's a new show called "Community"-- just 12 episodes so far I believe. Not bad. A crazy Asian dude teaches Spanish.

The guy from "Breaking Bad" is another good character.

And Hamlet, well, who can get enough of him.

The first episode is actually a real drag compared to the rest of the show. It reminds me of an episode of Law and Order more than the show it would eventually become.

Add another Omar Little to the list.

Yeah, it's an awesome series...at or near the top of most respectable lists of American shows. It's a very, very slow boil though, based on real investigative techniques and grinding surveillance work.

I am a fan of Mr. David.

I heard about Community and I think your brief summary and the fact that you mentioned Breaking Bad compel me to start downlading it.

EDIT: Also, all these mentions of "The Wire" are not simply coincedence. It's a brilliant show but make sure you have enough time. It also requires more of an attention span than other TV shows. I usually read or surf the web while watching shows like 24 or Man vs. Wild, but you really have to pay attention to The Wire. It's a much more fulfilling experience. Lots of tiny details, and tons of characters.
