Tried a search, couldn't find anything.

I want to call the UK but can't be bothered with Skype. I presume there's a pre-paid type card I can get to use with my mobile, or on a payphone.

Any ideas where I'd get one (specifically Busan)? Anyone use these?

Any help appreciated!

I presume there's a "foreigner" area in Pusan. The place ought to be littered with shops that have phone cards available. Itaewon in Seoul is. If you're not sure, ask. Something like, "International phone card issoyo?" ought to convey your point.

How could you not be bothered with Skype. It's easy and dirt cheap. Whatever.

On your mobile, enter 007 00 44 and then your home number minus the 0 at the start. Doesn't cost much even to call a mobile at home. Every familymart and GS25 also have international phone cards for about 10 000 that you can use with your mobile or payphone.

I would definitely recommend using the international phone cards you can buy in Seoul (and I'm guessing in the more foreign areas of any of the other big cities in Korea). I used Skype for a while and got tired of bad connections, static, etc, so I decided to buy a card.

For about 10,000 won you can call the US for a few hours. The connection is perfect. Just make sure the access number starts with 080 which means it's toll free and doesn't use your cellphone minutes.
