1. It's NOT field hockey.
2. Ball Hockey is the same as ice hockey, minus the ice.
3. There are some women who play in our league.
4. There is another group who has a ball hockey league in Daegu.
5. I'm not sure the status of the Busan group right now - they seem to be on and off from what I have heard.
Hope this helps. |

If I register, but can't pay until after the 24th (SMOE payday, but still before the late-payment cut-off date) am I at risk of losing my spot?
(In other words, does registering on the website give some sort of guarantee for a placement?) |

Once you are registered on the website you are guaranteed a spot, even if you haven't paid yet. The website keeps track of when people register. As long as you are registered before the cut off of 120 players then there won't be a problem. I suggest you register immediately as it's filling fast. However, once there are 120 people registered those who register after this mark are not guaranteed a spot. Hope this clears it up. |

Im heading to Korea later this month, so i am ready for Kroea and some intense ball hockey.
1. Should I bring my stick? or can i pick up a decent twig out there in Seoul?
2. Should I bring my gloves?
3. What else should I bring?
Thanks, and see you boys out there in a while.

I showed up for pick-up last week.
You can buy/borrow sticks here, but if you have anything of quality I'd bring it, as some of the top names aren't available here.
Gloves are probably a good idea, but not necessary. |

Technically, Inline hockey is Ice hockey, without the ice.
But anyways, if you want to buy your own equipment in Seoul, It's very possible. But the stuff I found was pretty expensive. sticks that would cost 20 bucks at home are priced at 50,000.
There's a Jimmy Paek Hockey store in Anyang City, near the Ice hockey/Basketball rink. But i'm not sure if it closed down. There's also the spomax store near the omokgyo hockey rink. |

Information:
1. Our website: www.cbhk.org has virtually all the information you need.
2. Our Email: [email protected] if you need more information.
SKETCHA:
Regarding payment and details - refer to the website - all of the information you need is there about who, where and how to pay.
KLAMB:
Sticks can be bought here and there are some league community sticks for people to use for free. I'd recommend bringing your own stick if you prefer to have your own and are comfortable with it.
Gloves are worn by many of our players. Many don't. It's what you feel comfortable with. I'd recommend bringing them. If you decide you don't want to use them after you can do that. However, if you don't bring them and then decide you want them then you will be forced to buy a new pair.
Other things: many players wear cups, mouthguards and shin guards. It's up to you but no one is in full gear.
MAYORGC:
Jim Paek's Hockey Shop is now closed here in Anyang.
We have a list of places in Seoul where you can buy gear listed on the website with details and information on where to find them.
EVERYTHING IS ON THE WEBSITE
Cheers |

I might have to get in on this. I haven't played much hockey at all in my life, but this could be a good time. |
