| I'm moving to Ilsan in a few weeks and know there are some places in Seoul to swing dance at, but I was curious if anyone knew of any classes in West Coast Swing for a beginner. If there is contact information for a studio or school, I'd appreciate it. The info I found was on a really old blog lacking contact info for the swing dance clubs. |

| I'm in the same boat, heading out to Pohang in a bit and I am looking to practice my East Coast style. |

I have a friend coming to stay for a while and she is mad about swing. Could you let me know about these swing places.
Also does anyone know what the scene here is like. Apparently in Belgium it it quite sleazy, and a lot of people just use the dancing to hook up. Where as in NZ it is all about the dancing. So what's the Seoul scene like? |

| People dance for other reasons than to hook up? What more do you need? |

I really don't know? but she seems to just like dancing. Each to their own I guess, she doesn't understand why I like to go to the top of mountains and ski fast to the bottom only to go to the top again |

| To show Mother Nature who's boss. You think natural disasters are bad now? Imagine what they would be like if she wasn't afraid that we'd clear-cut the Adirondacks and build the world's first board-through liquor and gun depot. |

here is the link i have found for dance places in Seoul.
http://swingkorea.blogspot.com/
it also has other places listed as well outside of seoul. I did email them in regards to dance lessons, but was told i should wait until i get there...i just wondered if anyone else had found anything.
people do dance for reasons other than to hook up...i feel exhilarated when i'm dancing...it's just enjoyable. and NZ is pretty crazy about it. I've been living in Nelson for the last year and have been involved with Ceroc dancing, but really want to get back to swing. fingers crossed that I find something suitable. |
