I need a part-time job in Seoul or Gyeonggi-do (Suwon, Bundang) that starts AFTER 1:30 PM. I've seen a very few on the job boards and I've emailed a few hakwon chains to inquire about openings (e.g. Wallstreet Institute), with no response. Does anyone know where else I might look, or have you heard of any openings in March or later?

Thanks.

i hear that the rules have changed. you can only add a second job to your visa after 6 months on that visa. even if you have had other visas, if you have a new visa at a new school, then you have to wait for 6 months before they will add the new job; at least that's what i've been told by friends who had this happen to them.

There is no 6-month rule. As long as the extra job is government affiliated you can add up to three additional places of work, as long as none of them pay more or require more of you time than your job with your primary visa sponsor.

I'm not aware of any places other than Wall Street Institute that will provide E2 sponsorship for part-time afternoon or evening work, sorry.

***EDIT: I stand corrected. A few days ago the policy was indeed changed. New teachers must work for their primary visa sponsor for 6 months before they can get additional workplace added to their visa.

Another change: Teachers can now transfer their E2 visa to a different employer 6 months into their contract - down from 9 months.
