I am trying to apply for public school positions but I feel my last school (EPIK) may be a factor. I finished the contract and what not but there were issues with my elementary co-teacher.

I was wondering about how best to tell the guys at footprints and Korea connections.

Anyone from past experience know how they are likely to react? Will SMOE require a reference from my last school?

You and me both bro...

I talked to a friend in a similar situation. She was open and honest about what had happened. The school she got into didn't even bother contacting her old school for a reference. She is a Canadian girl though, and they are tough to compete with in terms of attractivness to employers.

My agent is aware that my old HS is screwing me and we are working through it together, or so she says ^^

Best of luck

I am thinking the coteachers could only provide a character reference. The SMOE could provide some sort of certificate of work experience..

I hope they are open to this.
