I'm a huge fan of this implementation. A lot of the new smartphones are as well powered as a net book. So, they have enough power to do 90% of tasks that people do on a regular basis. I'm thinking about getting the motoroi and trying to get it to do this.

A smartphone that requires multiple accessories such as a keyboard, speakers, monitor, mouse, etc. will cost a lot more and never be a good replacement.

Netbooks are wonderful for what they are. They are not great if you want gaming or huge amounts of multi-tasking. They are great for portability and simple internet surfing and office work.
