The wife is looking to change gyms.
She wants to join a gym near Sanbon Station (Line 4) with a "power rack"/"squat rack".
Any recommendations?

I work out at an old school gym right outside Sanbon Station. Basically, you walk down the ramp, go right, walk two blocks, turn right, and it is the building directly in front of you. It's kinda hidden back there. Anyway, it's up on the 6th floor I believe. The name is Health Vision.
It's 100,000 won for 3 months.
They have a squat rack and a really friendly staff. But, there are only like 2 adjummas that workout there and I'm pretty sure I'm the only foreigner ... so you gotta speak a little Korean when you sign up, etc.
It's kinda old school but they have all the free weights you need.
On a side note - Koreans have the worst weight lifting form ever. |
