When i need fall boots last year I went into every shoe store asking if they had my size. I am also 255. Most stores did not.
I finally found a fierce pair of boots, at a price.
Converse also work since they are unisex.
that is what i wear here converse and my hot expensive boots. |

how about checking Gmarket? i've found shoes greater than 250mm there. also, i did find some shoes about 255 in itaewon, but it was really random-- they had a selection sprawled out on a mat in front of the store in spring and i just tried on a bunch. u might just need to browse a few of the shoe stores and see what they have.
another idea is forever 21 or zara or other western stores in myeong-dong. i've seen that they have cheap shoes (probably bigger than 250), but they look like they'll hurt after a bit. |

i buy my shoes in itaewon. there is a place called A and H discount that is in the basement underneath the Nashville bar, opposite the Hamilton hotel. they only have "big" sizes. you might have a few problems because they usually start at size 9, but they have been carrying a few smaller sizes lately. they are a little pricier, but they are discount brand names. they have chinese laundry, michael kors, nine west, ecco, nike, puma, etc. if you shop during change of season times, they can have some killer sales. some of the markets can have bigger size shoes, too. you just gotta search for them. dongdaemun alone has an entire shoe street!
depends on what you want, too. i bought my hiking boots just outside of namdaemun market. i get my runners in the nike shop, upstairs, in itaewon. i have really narrow feet so they are all that will fit me (and i'm a size 9). i get work shoes and heels either at A and H or just down from there, heading toward the McDonalds, maybe about 5 shops down? near the outback steakhouse... |

For the most part, shoes is the only clothing item I buy here in Korea. Well, maybe a hat or socks now and then.
I don't fit into the tiny sizes and I don't like the styles.
However, I can fit the shoes. Sorry I can't help you find bigger sizes however.
I don't like the shoe styles either. But at least I can get a shopping buzz, sometimes, from SOMETHING. |

That's NOTHING. My size is MUCH larger in men's sizes. That's an "Itaewon or get it mailed to you" kind of problem. |

You might be able to fit some styles in 250 also. Always try them on if you like them. I'm a 7.5-8 in the states (depending on style) and I wear a 240 or 245 here. I don't think the sizing is a precise translation so a 250 might still work for you. Not really what you asked, but I always think anything that looks worth buying is worth trying.
Also OT, I found a to die for pair of pumps at the Coex today for only 10k won on clearance. End of season sales are afoot ladies. The hunt is on. |

DID I JUST HEAR THE WORD SALE?!?? ♥
WHEN (is it finished) AND WHERE, that's all I need to know How did I miss this?
(Btw: do they have bigger shoe sizes at COEX? I'm a EU39, and even if stores here have the occasional 255, I can't for the life of me fit in 'em I'm gonna need at least 260/265's) |

I'm a size 10. Sometimes a size 8 fits, sometimes a size 12 is needed. Depends on the brand. This means that some Korean things fit me, but most feel tight, and then the "bigee sizee" stores don't carry things small enough to flatter me. It's very awkward. I plan to bring more clothes from home the second time around. |

Not sure whether it's still a viable option price wise, but a few years ago a friend got some great boots custom made at a shop in Itaewon for a very reasonable price. It's worth asking about. |

Sometimes the 250s will fit you. I wear 8-8.5 back home, I've tried asking for bigger sizes and even in Itaewon, most places don't have them. The 250s will fit quite often though. |
