I shipped my cat solo from Taiwan to Korea. Only problem was picking him up. Not speaking Korean, it took me two days to hunt him down in the Cargo area of Incheon airport.... That's a BIG BIG area with no English. By the time I found him he was drenched in his own urine.

Oh god! That's the fear with this whole process!

I've had my cat accompany me from Canada to Korea and back before, and didn't have any issues, but I'm still paranoid.

Does shipping a cat not create a lot of stress for the cat?

I presume you have an indoor cat. I doubt you'd let your cat outdoors here in Korea unless you're living in a house in a small town. All the house cats that I've had or that friends have had were very attached to their territory - ie. their house/apartment. Whenever friends have moved them, they hate it and some try to escape from their new house. I've also seen a lot of house cats (or even outdoor cats) that freek out when they are put in a travel box for a short car ride. A lot of them seem to lose bowel control. It's often a mess when by the time you take them out of the box. I can only imagine the result of a a 10 hour flight.

Are animals fed and given water while on a flight or in waiting at the airport?

Red is mine.

Garfield managed to mail Nermal to Abu Dhabi. I think it's important to include the directions "Bend & Fold".

I am seriously laughing out loud at this post. It's probably a serious thing for you, sorry, but thanks for the entertainment on this desk-warming day.

I was told not to let it eat for a day before sending it or something so it wouldn't crap all over the kennel, which it would have to sit in.
