I'm just curious what you would add. I never did any Karaoke singing back home... thought it was "faggy" back then (in the Southpark sense). But now I'm married and find myself drinking and singing with my daughters regularly off of youtube and limewire. As for today, I would add:

Friends in Low Places - Garth Brooks
Sitting on the Dock of the Bay - Otis Redding
Last Thing I needed the First Thing This Morning - Willie Nelson

... and I'm too drunk to remember the rest. What do you like to sing alone at home and wish were in a noraebang song book so you could show up your Korean pro-norae friends?... in the spirit of fun...

Like ekimswish, I'm yearning for more country--- it's a kind of music you can butcher joyfully.

My vote: Alcohol, by Brad Paisley

I'd add some more rap songs. They only have like 3. For starters I'd add:

2 Live Crew- Me So Horny

Eazy E- Boyz N The Hood

Ice-T- 6 In The Mornin and New Jack Hustler

Definitely... Rap music is tricky though, cuz people think they can sing it in Karaoke just because they can mumble along in their car. Once they see the speed of the lyrics on the screen for the first time they're lost and give up half way through... lol... I always got busted on "I'm Sorry Miss Jackson" - Outkast. But for sure... More rap is a must.

Took the gravelly words right out of my mouth. Tom has the most songs that I'm not embarrassed to sing and have the tones memorized.

Remember, whoever you may be, Tom Waits is cooler than you.

Keeping it just to songs that I have done karaoke to in the states, I'd say:
Yeah Yeah Yeahs- Maps
Romeo Void- Never Say Never

There are a lot of indie songs/stuff I like that would be great, but they aren't available back home either. For the most part, they carry a lot of stuff I would/do sing.

Definitely a Y,Y,Y's song. I would go with "Turn Into" 'cos it's easier to sing.

You would think with computers and the intertubes and all that stuff, that it would be possible to get any song you wanted.

I just called to say I love you - Stevie Wonder...

Good point on the computers and such. I wanna buy a karaoke machine from the Philippines for my wife, but with everything on the internet, what's the point?

All You Can Eat by The Fat Boys
Maximum Consumption by The Kinks
Lit Up by Buck Cherry

That should provide good entertainment and teach Koreans what Western Culture is all about. Very Happy
