Heading to SK Thursday morning and just had a quick question. Is there any reason to have your birth certificate of social security card with you? Is your passport sufficient for things you will need to have while there? Just curious, I would prefer to leave them here unless I absolutely need them.
Thanks. |

I'm shipping out tomorrow. Here's what I'm bringing:
-My passport with visa in it.
-A copy of my birth certificate
-My diploma with 2 copies
-Extra background checks
-Passport photos
-The contract/EPIK documents
I don't see a need for the birth certificate but I typically have it everywhere I live. I think the passport is enough ID. |

What you should bring -
passport (with several blank (unused) pages and at least 2-years left on it before it expires)
Police certificate (less than 6 months old)
apostilled copies of police certificate (notarized if Canadian)
Original degree
apostilled copies of original degree (notarized if Canadian)
sealed Univ transcripts (sealed in a University stamped envelope) - bring many (5~10) you can easily go through 2 of them per year
teaching certificates
teaching references
(You only need the birth certificate/drivers license/other ID if your passport is Lost/Stolen whilst in Korea - then you will need them to take to your embassy to get a new passport) - you don't need them for the school |

Thanks for your help. I figured the passport would be enough, but wanted to make sure. |
