Will a Garmin model from USA have Korean maps

I was thinking about buying a Garmin GPS for Korea. I have read that the USA ones do not have Korean maps and that Korean maps cannot be uploaded onto it. Is this true? anyone out there have a Garmin purchased in USA and found a way to put korean maps on there. What model?
