Do you have to submit a new medical check if you are transferrring you visa to another school? I already have a criminal record check, but never got the medical check done. If you have to submit one, what tests does it have to include?

Nevermind I called immigration they said no medical check or criminal record check is required when transferring a visa to a different employer.

So, you didn't get the medical exam done for the first school, but since you're transferring to another school (transferring your E2 before it's completed, right?) then you don't have to do a medical to be employed at school 2 either?

immigration said that a criminal background and medical check are not requires since they already have a copy on file. However, if i were to leave the country, even for one day, at the end of my contract and enter witha tourist visa then I would have submit a new criminal background check and medical.

Yes it makes no sense to me either.

You said you never submitted a Med check yet immigration has one on file. huh? Did they take your blood as you slept? am I the only one confused here?

My experience has been that the answers you receive from Immigration depends upon who you speak with. If you switch schools even mid contract just geta Visa Transference which is a rather simple process if you know what to do. And not all officials know you can do it either. learned that the hard way.
