|
|
Hey,
I was wondering if anyone knew of a writer's group here in Seoul? If not, I was thinking about starting my own--basically a casual meeting once a week or so to go over each other's creative writing. If enough people are interested, maybe we can make a go of it. I'm looking for fellow fiction writers only.
If you're into it, write me at [email protected].
Take care-- |

Shouldn't be too hard to start up - Korea has the most white aspiring writers per capita in the world.
Hope you like Bukowski. |

I've organized a small writer's group online before(about 8 people total), but I'm not in the Seoul area, otherwise, I'd be interested. |

I'm a writer, but like most good ones, I'm extremely self-centered and loathe criticism from people who think they're my peers but are really my stepchildren.
I know what you're trying to do; recruit me into your little novice fold so you can steal my ideas! Everyone wants some sparkle dust to rub off on them. No way mister!
(Just so ther're no hard feelings, the above is a joke. Good luck with your writing. I myself have recently started chronicalling the misadventures of a smarmy, English, sword weilding housecat named Mr. Fluffybumkins. Currently on page 2043.)

Would you be able to find something like that in other cities in Korea? |

Find it or start it.
I'd be interested in a virtual meet, if you or anyone else is interested. Maybe using a sight like Windows Live where writers could submit their work for review. Or simply an email exchange group. |

Yeah, I agree, in fact I think it would be better to do it through email or internet. I think you judge a work more objectively when you don't meet the author. I'm still in school and way too busy to write now, but talk to me again in September when I go to Korea. |
