I contacted my local police and they told me that a CBC would take 3-4 weeks.
I heard of this CBC service from american databank which only takes a few days. Would this CBC be enough for an F-4 Visa, and transferable to more than one hagwon?

Also, do you need to have a job offer first in order to apply for an F-4 visa?
Or can you just go into a korean consulate and apply for an F-4 without having jobs lined up at all?

If you qualify for an F-4 visa you don't need a sponsorship. It's kind of THE big benefit qualifying for an F-4 visa. Getting it is a real breeze as well, at least for me. Go to the Korean consulate with some documents, forgot exactly what you need, then they'll have your visa the next week.

Oh and you don't need a CRC for an F-4 visa. It's a loophole in the system.

Read the FAQ and travel sections respective posts about getting an F4. Everything you want or need to know is there.

Unless something is new, a CBC is not needed for an F4 (but may eventually be required by the employer anyway).

You do NOT need a job to get an F4. You need Korean parents/grandparents.
