On Saturdays, I clean. I clean with vigor. I clean like I mean business. I clean like I am personally offended by germs. When I am done, you could do brain surgery in my kitchen.

I clean for a couple of hours, do laundry, and the last thing I do is shower, then clean the bathroom. In the nude.

As I was scrubbing away in the loo, I had a flash of awkward self-awareness- I was cleaning the bathroom with no clothes on.....is this normal? I have never considered it before, because it seemed so logical, due to the way bathrooms are designed here. Right?

Now I am wondering if other people do this or if it's just me, and if it is just me, does that mean that I am some bizarre borderline nudist with a liking for clean floors and sparkling sinks.

Does anyone else do this? End my pain.

Also, I don't clean. I wouldn't clean in the nude because I don't want chemical touching my bare skin.

First of all: how did you end up nude in the first place?
Presumably, you are not normally nude, are you?
Nor do you clean the rest of the house in the nude, do you?
So, how did you end up getting nude between cleaning the rest of the house
and cleaning the bathroom?

No, no, you're not reading it correctly, or perhaps I was unclear. I clean the flat whilst fully-clothed, but then I shower and AFTER the shower, I spray some cleaner on the sink, walls and floor, give them a quick scrub, then hose down the whole affair with the shower head. I just think that if I were to do that clothed, then I would get my clothes wet. So I do it right after I shower.

I am getting the feeling that only I do this.

I knew it. I'm odd.

You could also do it in a full body rubber suit, have you considered that? If you're really serious about cleaning your shower, then it might be worth investing in one.

I'm a clean freak too. I often clean naked - but I clean the bathroom first and then shower - seems more logical.

I'm generally naked at home when it's warm enough (I keep the heat low for health/money reasons) although I'm becoming more concerned about the potential dangers of cooking naked. Hot oil I can deal with but what if I drop the knife.

While Peppermint is right, there is nothing wrong with incorporating housework with showering. A little inefficient, but as normal as one would like to be.

What would be definitively abnormal would be if you attended your sanitation duties in front of a webcam. Potentially lucrative, but very bizarre.
