I have a few questions:
1. What is the name of the KR who fell into the other KR and went flying into the wall?
2. Did anyone see it? If so, how did it make you feel to see it?
3. Does anyone have a link to where I can watch it online?

* I'm trying to find the article about the guys who went flying into the wall, and I couldn't find it.

* I would like to see it. After living in KR for almost 2 years, and learning their "culture", politics of society, and determination to be a "GROBAL LEADER", I understand that they just LOOOOOOOOOOVE to relish in the shortcomings of foreigners. This is one reason why I would love to see this KR failure.

I was at an appointment with my wife the other day and there was this American guy on a [Mod Edit] tv REALITY show. They had the guy hanging out with some KR's and they went to a mall. They had the guy trying on all sorts of clothes. They really humiliated the kid. He had no clue what light they were putting him in. He seemed like an open-minded kid who was willing to try things in different cultures, and they just took advantage of him and had all of these circus sound effects when he was trying on clothes. Then they would rewind and replay the moment over and over again with sound effects to completely make fun of the poor kid who was oblivious to what direction these KR's would go with the film. They had him in a hair salon and totally wrecked him, too. I can just imagine what kind of lawsuit would shortly follow something like this in the U.S. - as a matter of fact, you wouldn't even see blatant discrimination on television like that against a race. Really peeves me off.

* Where can I find the FAIL?

Their names were 성시백 and 이호석.

I think Mr Lee, the guy on the centre caused it. But whatever. Shoot like that happens in olympic events all the time.

stoopidfan you are petty.

Whats the points of trying to relish in the misfortune of these skaters anyway?

Some Koreans laugh when foreigners have bad results at the olympics...so your solution is go one down them and dive further into the mud and filth?

Wow.

You know the passage you used from another thread (you did not quote it by the way, you tried to pass it off as your own)...WATCH Korean TV shows for say 5 seconds and you will see the exact same thing done to Korean guests....including stars. Its an accepted form of comedy here (as well as in Japan and China by the way). They do it to people like Hiyori when she appears on a reality show. They have tasks to complete and when she fails they add sound effects and so on....people laugh....get over yourself man.

You watched 우리결혼했어요2. The guy was from Afghanistan, not the USA. Humiliated, took advantage of, made fun of? blatant discrimination? Lawsuit? LOL? Such "circus sound effects" are common in Korean TV shows. It was rather the Koreans who humiliated themselves struggling to communicate in the worst level of Konglish. The Afghan guy wasn't forced to do anything he didn't wanna do. It's insanely funny how twisted and biased minds work. I've lost faith in human brains.

Ya, unfortunately I gotta disagree as well Stoopidfan14. I think you are being a bit too sensitive to what you saw. There are tons of dumb tv shows all around the world. It's not like we don't have them as well here in America.

I did just watch another race just recently where a Korean ice skater tried to grab onto the shoulder of another skater as they were crossing the finish line. It was a really cheap move, but after living in Korea I wasn't surprised in the least. Kinda sad that I thought this I know, but anyone who has spent time around Koreans knows they are very competitive to the point of being unbearably rude and annoying.

Can't believe how mere jostling for the finish line can be turned into a slight to Korean athletes. It happens all the time. Although I do admit some Korean's hate for Ohno does go overboard.

I took it in good humor when my sister in-law and mother in-law laughed when a NZ skater finished dead last in the quarter final or whatever it was, skating race.

IMAGINE what would happen if I laughed when a Korean lost!

You can find the FAIL in your posts...the one above in particular.

1. Someone else mentioned the names.
2. Gutted and annoyed. Why couldn't the guy who screwed up have just been happy with bronze? (I'm obviously not American).
3. No link. I have seen torrents of some events. You could try that.

There are so many of these events, and so many crashes, I can hardly keep track. But this might be it?
Quote:
In the 1500 m final, 2006 silver medalist Lee Ho-Suk crashed into fellow Korean skater Sung Si-Bak during the final turn of the last lap.

The Koreans were ready to sweep it, when Lee and Sung knocked each other out. Hope this works for you, it takes a Microsoft Silverlight install:
