Some women in my view have become mean, nasty, and overly keen to get ahead, whereas men seem to be sensitive, reasonable, and aren't as over the top as some 'power crazed' women are.
It's still predominantly a man's world, and there are plenty of nasty, career-obsessed men out there too.
Yes, women still aren't treated fairly, they aren't always paid as much as men when they do the same job etc.
|
Hundreds of years of oppression, which to some extent still exists (as you mentioned above) is the reason many women have to act the way they do. Men have had and still have it easier than women (e.g. better paid for the same job role sometimes) and thus don't have to run around like blue arsed flies to get ahead...Or are you just simply feeling the competition fromtheuk?

I'm all for success, but when I observe power hungry women acting like men, it's a real turn-off. |
Women don't work their 'balls' off to turn you on, so you can rest easy there hon. |
yep, all that free money for college and legal protection sure sucks |

Gender is not a social construct. What, am I imagining the hole that my dick goes in? Am I imagining that I have a dick and balls instead of a vagina? Are my pecs really a pair of knockers? I must be one ugly-ass girl then.

You are confusing gender with sex. The former is sociology and the latter is biology. Don't worry, it happens all the time. It's all part of the greater "nature vs. nurture" debate. Whether you agree or disagree with the concept of gender as a social construct, it is important not to confuse the terms. |
Equally, ethnicity is a genetic reality but a social construct when it comes to taking censuses. |

Haven't you heard? Women are master manipulators. They will use their vaginas to steal all your money and you'll never even see it coming. |

Which is good, because it's really gross to watch. |
