I am helping my colleague find an English teacher in Dongtan. The Hogwan is seeking a native English teacher ASAP. The required working hours are from 9 AM to 6 PM M-F. However, the teaching hours are less than 5.5 hours a day. The rest of the time will be devoted to lunch, lesson planning and personal time. The position offers round trip airfare, a furnished apartment (officetel), a national pension plan, a national health care plan, a contract completion bonus (equal to one month's salary) and school lunch. The monthly salary is 2.2 million won (I might be able to negotiate a higher salary), and the school offers both kindergarten and elementary classes. Furthermore, the school is in need of a teacher ASAP, as the current teacher left unexpectedly (the new Hagwon school year begins in approximately 10 days).

Please read the information below regarding Dongtan, and contact me ASAP with resume and photo if interested.

ABOUT DONGTAN
Dongtan, the award winning Korean "New City" is located just south of Suwon, on Subway line 1, near Byeongjeom station. It is next door to the prestigious Samsung Electronic Company and has been developed for their employees to improve the living standard in Korean cities. It's population is about 100,000, constantly increasing, and it will have major urban facilities and a 66-story skyscraper in a cleaner and more natural environment. A nearby city park includes: 3 full size basketball courts, nature trails, a skate park, nine-hole pitch/ putt golf course, and a full size soccer pitch. The nearby cultural attractions include: 1. The Hwaseong Fortress, a UNESCO world heritage site, 2. Everland, the #1 amusement park in Korea, 3. The Korean Folk Village in Yong-in City, 4. Three ski resorts within an hour of the city!!! PLUSit only takes less than one hour to get to downtown Seoul by bus or subway! Why live in a crowded, sub-standard environment, when you can live in the premier New City?
