Thermostat drama!
I was wondering if someone out there with a little knowledge of Korean can give me a hand with translating the functions on my thermostat? I'd like to have my hot water tank running and my floor heat off (or very low)... I thought I'd be able to figure it out by tinkering with the options but it's 2 days later and my apartment is still saunarific.
Any help would be appreciated- thanks |

Turn the bottom dial to between 55 and 65.
(on the pic it's on 85) |

That's the water temperature. I know Koreans like a really warm room, but 85C is 185F, which is crazy.
On the right, there is a gray button that says 목욕기능, which means hot water or bathing function. It's above the grey button with the green light. Push that button, and it should only heat the water, not the floor.
From the way your system is set, it shouldn't be very warm. It's set to 11C, and it's on the out of the house mode, so it should only be keeping it a little warm. |

I think the korean on heating panels is meant to be as confusing as possible.
On yours, the language they use for water temperature is pretty much "heating/warm room temperature" and the language for room temperature is "interior temperature." There must be a simpler way to say water and room. |

Just pretend you're Korean and crack the window open. |

This is what I miss the most about Canada when I'm in Korea... |
