OP, I would looooove to say that you're right. But alas, you're not.
I will speak in generalities here, so people PLEASE don't bother with the "speak for yourself I don't see it that way I love K men" comments.
The problem in your theory is that Western guys really like Kgirls. You like Fgirls too. So yes, there are a pool of both K and Fgirls for you to choose from. However, Fgirls do not like Kmen. So, most of those girls you see in Hongdae? ...they're looking for a non-K man.
It's not like we actively dislike everything about K men. If a Korean man with body, English, and confidence (and no "oooh weigook I'm talkin to a weigook waaaa!" vibe) was to approach me, I would go for it. But those guys are rare (in my experience). We are left with the pool of Western men who, frankly, have a big choice of hot Korean ladies to dance with. Ladies who are thin, attractive, exotic and speak English (or enough English).
The needs of Western men and Western ladies are not the same. Ladies like confident men. Men like cute women. So Korea is not the best place for Western girls.
PS. Your theory IS correct if the Western girl is really hot. |

| Sorry i cant agree with you, im having no problem getting girls. you have to try harder unless you are really ugly or have no personality its really easy to pick up girls. i hate trying to pick up girls at the club, i cant do it. but meet them through other friends or language exchange, and you'll be swimming through them! |

As mentioned, K girls I can get EASY. |
It's not that hard meeting and taking a K girl out for coffee/dinner. Watch your bank account dry up while your "swimming" though.
Go to a club. Less expensive and not that difficult either. |

ive been here less than two months and im juggling 2 girls right now trying to decide who i want to be with. BOTH of them whip out their card when its time to pay and you know how Koreans do everything so fast, well, they pull their card out before i can get my money out, and they wont take it when i offer to pay them back. but im sure ill meet some who expect me to pay, and thats not cool either. it should be even until we get serious, then i dont mind paying (most of the time.) |
