Just got back after seven weeks away on vacation. It's lovely! Was the whole Korean winter this nice? Please tell me I missed out on a really lousy one. It will make all the money I spent on vacation seem much better spent!

No. It hasn't been too bad, but early Jan was awful. So cold.

Yeah that was rough.

A particularly mild winter for Korea this year though imo.

I recall the killer winter of 2005, damn it was freezing all the time and there was still ice and snow on the ground THE LAST WEEK OF APRIL!!!!

No way man, this winter was MUCH colder than last year, at least in Seoul it was. December and January were hellishly frigid, if that even makes sense

Yeah, it was pretty rough. There was one day when despite having four layers including a parka, a hat and gloves, I was shivering non-stop. There was tons of wind too which doesn't help. I personally believe that immigration is in charge of the wind and choose to only let it blow in winter.

There was also record snowfall in Seoul. Granted, it was only about a foot, but it was still pretty unusual.

It is called a humorous post, not a pissing match. I even put on 3 smileys for the reading impaired.

Since we are all (presumably) college-educated I didn't know I had to add a disclaimer to my posts. Rolling Eyes
