It's not that hard meeting and taking a K girl out for coffee/dinner. Watch your bank account dry up while your "swimming" though.
Go to a club. Less expensive and not that difficult either. |
ive been here less than two months and im juggling 2 girls right now trying to decide who i want to be with. BOTH of them whip out their card when its time to pay and you know how Koreans do everything so fast, well, they pull their card out before i can get my money out, and they wont take it when i offer to pay them back. but im sure ill meet some who expect me to pay, and thats not cool either. it should be even until we get serious, then i dont mind paying (most of the time.) |
i'm guessing these girls are older? If their young, then congrats on that... I've met girls who pay, and girls who don't. Younger girls tend to not pay, and the older girls don't mind... |

I sympathize with you OP -- not that I agree with anything you say, but because my area of the country has a massive female brain drain.
There are loads of outstanding female ... high school girls

I only date Foreign girls and I gotta say it's hard not to get some if you go to Hongdae at night. Don't get me wrong, I never had a lot of trouble at home, but the foreign girls I've met here seem to be more....promiscuous? Maybe it's the factor of "what happens in Korea stays in Korea".
And I gotta say, there are some pretty hot foreign girls. I don't know what kind of lame clubs you dudes hang out at. |

Depends how you do back home.
If you do really well: Expect dating in Korea to be more of a headache and you are probably going to have to lower your standards a bit. You will still get dates though but not the quality that you get back home THese women have insane amounts of competition for them. And they know it. The only guys I know that do extremely well are Kyopo men that look like models (1 actually is one). BAsed on what I've seen so far, A really good looking western guy and an average Korean girl are quite the norm.
If you do average/below average: Expect dating in Korea to be great. There are lots of girls that you can date that would probably be a bump up in what you're used to back home. For some guys ANYTHING is better than back home, and this is what perpetuates the myth that in Korea it is easy for a western guy to get a hot girlfriend. This is such a myth. |

I agree with hockeyguy.
If I were single I would be going after western girls. When I was in CHina there were many of them and approaching them for dates was so much easier because we were both expats and shared something in common. I see nice looking western girls out every weekend and they aren't surrounded by hordes of guys unlike Korean girls. |

And also a fair amount of below and way below average western guys with Korean girls who are average. |

I was msotly going to 'The Bar' or the tin pan bars. I did have s#x with an American girl inside the aptly named 'Ho bar' a few years back with her friend watching (she was in this weird 3 way bi relationship) but I was so drunk I might have well not have bothered. And I could've once gone home with two girls who were also bi but they weren't that hot / not my type. I can honestly and ashamdely say I haven't had any other favorable encounters with foriegn women I was actually really attracted to other than these and three hot women I met in and had encounters with encounters in Itaewon (one Japanese, two American and 2 of them were 8/9 out of ten kind of girls physically) - in 5 years.
All the other girls have been Korean. Seriously, in almost 6 years.
What clubs would you suggest? |
CLUB FF - Be there around 12am-4am. I went there quite a bit and everytime I got laid....till about 3 months ago when I met my fiancee in this very club  |
